Ex-president and former central bank governor are both accused of malpractice
Sri Lanka's finance minister has issued a detailed statement accusing a former central bank governor of colluding in fraud with the country's last president, local media sources have reported.
One Sri Lankan news site published what it said was an official statement released by finance minister Ravi Karunanayake today (February 27), accusing both former president Mahinda Rajapaksa and ex-governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal of malpractice.
