Minneapolis Fed launches new research institute
It will draw on multiple disciplines to extend the Fed’s research
The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis has launched a new research centre, designed to extend the Fed's work on inclusive growth by drawing on a diverse range of academic disciplines.
Speaking on January 18, Minneapolis Fed president Neel Kashkari said the new "opportunity and inclusive growth institute" would complement existing research, but avoid going over the same ground.
