ECB minutes show concern over strength of future inflation

The European Central Bank (ECB) released the minutes of its governing council's most recent monetary policy meeting on November 17.

They show members concerned about whether the current rise in eurozone inflation would be sustainable. Wages are growing slowly, and members expressed uncertainty over the output gap and the future behaviour of energy prices.
