State Bank of Pakistan spends $1.2 million on department move

Banking subsidiary to move five of its operations to the northern and central provinces

The State Bank of Pakistan's Banking Services Corporation is to move the majority of its services out of Karachi and into the central and northern provinces.

In an attempt to improve organisational performance, the subsidiary of the SBP will relocate its departments which deal with currency management, government banking, internal audit, foreign exchange operations and development finance.
