Australia's new A$5 banknote, the first in the world to feature an edge-to-edge window, launched on September 1.

The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has printed 170 million of the notes, on Innovia's ‘Guardian' substrate. They are the first in the "Next Generation" series to be launched, and will now gradually enter circulation.
