BoE deputy governor says household balance sheets are “stretched”

Household balance sheets are vulnerable to a large shock and certain risks in the housing sector are increasing again after a period of calm, Bank of England (BoE) deputy governor Jon Cunliffe said today (March 2) in the British parliament.
