EBA unveils 2016 stress test methodology

Test will not measure a single capital adequacy threshold but results will ‘inform’ SREP

The European Banking Authority (EBA) unveiled the methodology for this year's stress tests of banks in the European Union today (February 24). Unlike the previous stress tests, held in 2014, there will be no single pass or fail level of capital adequacy.
