DNB opens financial ‘whistleblowing desk’
Dedicated confidential contact points aim to make it easier to report malpractice, bank says
The Netherlands Bank (DNB) has opened a dedicated "whistleblowing desk", where financial professionals can report suspected malpractice, it announced today (February 3).
Financial workers who "have well-founded suspicions of, or have noticed, serious breaches of laws and regulations" can contact the desk, said the DNB in a statement. They can use the dedicated confidential telephone number and email address, or submit reports by post.
Reports filed with the desk will be assessed by supervisory
