Surveillance chief joins board as central bank warns of renewed capital flight
Bank Indonesia's top policy committee met today (June 19) to allocate members' portfolios following the appointment of a new deputy governor on Wednesday, a spokesperson said.
The central bank, which held its benchmark policy rate at 7.5% yesterday, inaugurated Erwin Riyanto, an executive director for financial system surveillance, as deputy governor on Wednesday.
