Nouy sees banking union driving deeper integration
ECB report finds integration back to levels achieved before sovereign debt crisis
Financial integration continued to grow in the eurozone last year, climbing back to a level achieved before the sovereign debt crisis hit the region, according to a European Central Bank (ECB) report today.
The report was released at a joint conference of the ECB and European Commission in Brussels, where supervisors and academics gathered to discuss integration and stability in Europe.
