Former UK chancellor of the exchequer Lord Lamont has said that the UK's exit from the European Union (EU) would not cause significant upheaval for the asset management industry.

Speaking at Incisive Media's annual Family Office Investment Summit on March 4 in London, the ex-chancellor disputed scare stories surrounding an EU exit, calling a withdrawal "problematic but not an overwhelming disaster that some commentators say it will be".
