ECB conference tackles ‘reconciliation’ of statistics as central bank’s powers expand

Statistics produced by central banks and supervisory data have "so far lived in different realms" but must now be reconciled, Mario Draghi said today, at the final European Central Bank (ECB) conference before the launch of the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM) on November 4.
