Bank of Slovenia widens group of stress test banks

Slovenia's central bank and finance ministry have commissioned asset quality reviews and stress tests of 10 national lenders, including three deemed systemically important, following recommendations by the European Council in June.

In addition to the banks of systemic importance – NLB, Nova KBM and Abanka – seven additional institutions were singled out for the exercise on the basis of ‘specific criteria', the Bank of Slovenia said in a statement, without further elaboration.
