Reckless bankers should face jail, says UK parliamentary report
Prison sentences for "reckless" senior bankers are among the recommendations contained in the 570-page dossier released today by the UK Parliamentary Commission on Banking Standards.
The report marks the culmination of a year-long process – launched after the Libor scandal – of gathering written and verbal evidence on the professional standards and culture in the UK banking sector.
