Customer funding gaps fall at Danish banks

The results of the latest National Bank of Denmark stress test show that Danish banks remain in a relatively robust position compared with their peers in Europe, with the majority of the largest institutions better capitalised than at the time of their previous examination in June.

The results, released today (October 25), also reveal a drop in the customer funding gap for small and medium-sized banks, as a result of a rise in deposits and decline in loans since 2008. Indeed, the results noted
