Updated 50 Bermuda dollar banknote enters circulation

The Bermuda Monetary Authority has introduced into circulation a revised 50 Bermuda dollar banknote as part of its "continuous programme of enhancements".

The new banknote, which was issued at the beginning of August, showcases an updated longtail bird image and an altered prefix on the serial numbering. It will run in circulation alongside both the 50 denomination banknotes from the legacy series and 2009 banknote series.
