Turkey and Nigeria in talks with China about currency swaplines

At separate events in Kuala Lumpur, the governors of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey and the Central Bank of Nigeria said they are currently engaged in negotiations with the People's Bank of China regarding setting up currency swaplines.

At the Islamic Financial Intelligence Summit 2011 on Tuesday, Lamido Sanusi, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, revealed negotiations on a memorandum of understanding (MOU) are underway with China.
