Estonia sounds clear warning on Europe crisis contagion
Eesti Pank on Tuesday issued a statement outlining the pressures the ongoing international financial crisis was putting on its domestic financial sector.
"The international financial environment has deteriorated significantly in recent months," said the central bank. "Whereas financial market tensions used to be confined to just a few eurozone countries, the debt crisis has now spread further afield."
This development had been "accompanied by a growing lack of confidence in the European banking
