Egypt's banks gradually reopen

Egypt's bankers are gradually returning to work after a wave of protests across the country forced many bank branches to close.

The Central Bank of Egypt said on Tuesday 396 more branches across the country would open for business on Thursday, in addition to the 327 bank branches that opened on Sunday, bringing the total number of branches open to 723.
