Argentina dips into central bank profit to finance expenditure
The Central Bank of Argentina transferred Ps3 billion ($761.6m) of its profits for last year to the country's government, as Cristina Fernández, the country's President, continues to rely on the central bank to finance the government's expenditure.
The transfer, from the central bank's 2009 profits of Ps23.5 billion, was the central bank's second this year, following from a Ps1.5billion transfer in February, according to Bloomberg, a newswire. A representative from the Argentine central bank
