Draghi backs EU move on stress tests

Italy will follow Spain's example and commit to the European Union's (EU) plans to publish results on the health of Europe's biggest banks, the governor of the Bank of Italy said on Friday.

Mario Draghi, the governor of the central bank, said in Rome that the publication of the results of stress tests on Italy's biggest banks would restore confidence in its financial system and improve transparency for its banks.
