FSA appoints new communications chief
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) on Tuesday appointed Tom Kelly as its new communications director.
Kelly rose to prominence during his tenure as official spokesman and political adviser to former Prime Minister Tony Blair between 2001 and 2007. He joins from BAA, an airport owner, where he has been director of communications and a member of BAA's executive committee since 2007.
Kelly replaces John Murray who quit the role in December 2009 after four years in the job.
