ECB Noyer - Wise for China to boost euro forex

CHINA - European central bank Vice President Christian Noyer said Tuesday it was "a very wise decision" for Chinese authorities to choose to boost the amount of euros in the country's foreign exchange holdings.

Noyer said in a statement that various factors probably influenced China's decision to increase its euro holdings.

Those factors have probably "played a role in the decision of the Chinese authorities to increase the euro-share of its foreign exchange holdings; Indeed, a very wise decision
