ECB's Noyer - Euro Undervalued Vs Dollar

EUROPE - European Central Bank Vice President Christian Noyer said Wednesday the euro is undervalued against the dollar, but added it was "very difficult" to tell when the euro would rebound.

"I believe we could afford an appreciation of the euro versus the U.S. dollar without economic problems," Noyer said.

Noyer added that a strong euro has benefits for the smooth implementation of policy.

Noyer was speaking in Tokyo at a symposium on the euro and the European Central Bank.

Noyer also touched upon
