Iran's cb to issue bonds despite US sanctions

IRAN - The Central Bank of Iran still plans to issue its first international bond, according to its governor, Mohsen Nourbakhsh. This is despite the withdrawal of Iran's debt rating by Moody's, a major US credit rating agency.

Moody's Investors Service withdrew Iran's sovereign rating last week on the grounds that it could be in contravention of the US trade and economic sanctions on Iran. But Nourbakhsh maintained to local media that "Iran's 500 million Eurobond will be issued on the set time"
