Cavallo accuses cbank chief of sowing chaos

ARGENTINA - Argentine Economy Minister Domingo Cavallo on Apr 23 accused Central Bank chief Pedro Pou of trying to create chaos to divert attention from his own problems.

Cavallo told political TV program "A Dos Voces" he was "baffled" by Pou, who has enraged him by refusing his calls to relax monetary policy to inject liquidity into the moribund economy, and whose job is on the line amid a money laundering scandal.

Cavallo likened Pou - who finds out today whether Congress wants him fired - to ex
