Philippine court suspends central bank chief

Rafael Buenaventura, governor of the Philippines central bank, has been suspended from the bank for a year. The Court of Appeals on Wednesday found Mr Buenaventura and four other central bank officials "guilty of gross neglect of duty". The ruling cannot take effect until all appeals are exhausted.
