Dodge calls for G8 focus on imbalances

Bank of Canada governor David Dodge urged the Group of Eight to focus more on imbalances affecting global prosperity than on Africa and climate change.

In an interview with the Financial Times, Dodge said because of the growth of economies in China, India and Brazil, the G8 no longer is the right forum to deal with big economic issues.
