China CBank fights non-performing loans

According to the April 27 edition of Asia Pulse, the People's Bank of China (PBOC), the Chinese central bank, is to take measures to reduce non-performing loans (NPL) of commercial banks.PBOC has required commercial banks to manage NPL by category and reduce NPL by actual clearing.It requires commercial banks to take NPL-reduction as a long-term task, and will also get supports from local governments and strengthen communication with enterprises.

The central bank will inspect both NPL and normal
