Central banks partly to blame: UK MPs
A report by the United Kingdom's Treasury Select Committee, entitled "Banking Crisis: dealing with the failure of the UK banks and the steps the government has taken since", labelled banks the "principal authors of their own demise" but said that central bankers and other official bodies were also responsible.
