Markets rally on global bailout

Equity markets bounced on Monday on signs that coordinated action taken over the weekend had helped soothe investor sentiment.

Leading stock indices in Asia, Europe, and the US rallied on Monday following their worst week since the 1987 crash.

The FTSE 100 index of leading shares listed in London soared on the opening bell and was up 8.26% at 4,257 at the close. Frankfurt's DAX rose 11.4% to 5,062 and Paris's CAC bourse surged11.2%, closing at 3,532. Hong Kong's Hang Seng was up 10.24% at 16,312
