ECB sells more gold

The ECB sold 23 tons of gold on 30 November, the central bank said.

These sales are in full conformity with the central banks' gold sales agreement of 27 September 2004, the ECB added.

The gold sales agreement was signed by the ECB, the 12 central banks of the euro, Switzerland and Sweden, who agreed to limit their combined gold sales to a maximum of 500 tons per year over a five-year period.
