Russian c bank lose 5 bn rubles due to staff fault

RUSSIA - The General Prosecutor's Office has completed investigation into the criminal case against Deputy Director of the main Moscow territorial division of the Central Bank, Alexander Alekseev.

Alekseev is charged according to clause 286 of the Criminal Code with "excess of powers."

Investigators found out that in 1998 Alekseev breached the terms of crediting of SBS-Agro Bank by the Central Bank. Due to Alekseev the state lost 5.8 billion rubles.
