IMF says expects rate hike in Canada

The IMF has said Canada may have to increase interest rates as the country is operating close to capacity and inflation presents an increasing danger.

The International Monetary Fund said yesterday the Bank of Canada will likely have to raise interest rates because the nation's economy is now operating at close to its potential.
