IMF approves Yugoslavia's membership in Fund

The IMF executive board today approved the membership of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in the IMF," the Fund said in a statement on Dec 20, 2000. The federal republic's admission to the Fund was conditional on the settlement of some $128 million in arrears owed to the IMF by the country's former socialist authorities.
