Polish central banker Rybinski warns on rates

Deputy governor of the National Bank of Poland Krzysztof Rybinski said on Wednesday 11 August that the central bank may have to be more aggressive in raising interest rates to contain inflation.

Deputy central bank governor Krzysztof Rybinski was quoted in the Parkiet daily newspaper as saying Poland was more vulnerable to inflationary pressures than more developed economies in Europe and thus rates may have to be moved up more aggressively.
