Bulgarian governor wins second term

Ivan Iskrov has been granted a second stint as governor of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB), after two-thirds of lawmakers voted in favour of his reappointment.

His candidacy was supported by 165 of the 240-strong assembly. Six deputies were against the proposal. Iskrov's second term will start on October 10.
