Thai leader shows support for central bank chief
Rumours had been circulating that the governor would be made to go over his failure to deal with non-performing loans in the state-run bank KTB. Instead, the prime minister praised the governor, M.R. Pridiyathorn Devakula, and claimed that the central bank has the problem of KTB under control.
