Bank of Finland lines up academic for board
The Parliamentary Supervisory Council decided on Thursday to recommend Honkapohja to the Finnish government. The president, Tarja Halonen, must now make the final decision on whether to appoint Honkapohja.
A dozen people applied for the post including two heads of department at the central bank, Pentti Pikkarainen and Antti
