Slovak government considers two to replace Jusko

The Slovak government is considering two candidates to replace outgoing National Bank of Slovakia (NBS) governor Marian Jusko, CTK news agency reported this week.

The two are current NBS vice governor Ivan Sramko, and Martin Barto, who will join the central bank board in December, the report said.

The cabinet selects the governor, and news agency Interfax said that as the Slovak Democratic and Christian Union (SDKU) and the Alliance of a New Citizen (ANO) have more ministers than the Christian
