Jean-Jacques Rey retires from Belgium central bank

Jean-Jacques Rey, a director of the National Bank of Belgium since 17 September 1988, is retiring on 17 September of this year. His current term of office is coming to an end and, at his own request, will not be renewed.

Rey is a member of the board of directors of the National Del Credere Office. He was chairman of the board of directors of Creditexport and a member of the board of the Belgian-Luxembourg Exchange Institute.

He has represented the bank in various European and international
