Bank of Israel should oversee bank fees - Knesset

The final report of the Knesset's committee looking into banking fees recommended that control of banking fees be transferred to the central bank.

At present the fees are controlled by the Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry.

The committee's report says the transfer will streamline the process of reducing fees and allow for greater competition in the sector.
