I won't intervene in central bank policy:Turkey PM

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey's prime minister, has said that the government will not involve itself in central bank policy.

"The central bank is an autonomous institution," Erdogan said. "Our intervention is out of question."

The statement came on the back of reports that the relationship between the government and the Central Bank of Turkey are becoming increasingly strained.
