Taiwan premier issues 5 point directive to c bank

TAIWAN - Taiwanese Premier Chang Chun-hsiung has issued a five-point directive to the Central Bank of China (CBC), urging it to help revitalise the sagging economy and speed up financial reform.

Chang issued the directive during his first inspection tour of the central bank since he assumed premiership late last year.

At this time of economic hardship, Chang said the central bank should closely monitor bank credit trends and push local banks to offer local businesses easier access to working
