EMEAP central banks announce launch of the ABF2

The EMEAP (Executives' Meeting of East Asia and Pacific Central Banks) Group comprising 11 central banks and monetary authorities in the East Asia and Pacific region announced the launch of the second stage of the Asian Bond Fund (ABF2) on Thursday. EMEAP said the launch of ABF2 represents a historic milestone in central banking cooperation in the region.

Building further on the successful launch of the first stage of the Asian Bond Fund (ABF1) in June 2003, which invested in US dollar
