Singapore, Thai central banks sign supervisory MOU

Singapore and Thailand have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for banking supervisory cooperation between the two countries, the MAS said Thursday 25 May.

The MOU was signed between the Monetary Authority of Singapore and its Thai counterpart, the Bank of Thailand, in Singapore, the statement said.

With the MOU, the two central banks can share information during the licensing process and ongoing supervision of banks under their respective responsibility, the statement added.
