Stock exchange wants autonomy for Kenya's c bank

KENYA - The Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE) board of directors want the Kenyan constitution to increase the autonomy of the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK).

They have proposed to the Constitution of Kenya Review Commission (CKRC) that the CBK should be established by the constitution and both the governor and the directors enjoy a maximum tenure of two-year terms.
