No Iraqi money in Ukraine - Central Bank

Speaking on Wednesday Serhiy Tyhypko said that the US call to freeze Iraqi assets would not affect them as the Ukraine did not hold any Iraqi bank accounts.

There is not a single Iraqi account in a Ukrainian bank, so the issue of closing Iraqi bank accounts in Ukraine is non-existent, the head of the National Bank of Ukraine, Serhiy Tyhypko, told a seminar for the regional media in Kiev today.

"If there were bank accounts, I do not think that we would do it,"
