French to ease cash deposit laws
The law sets out to make two exceptions in the current legal framework of banking. It raises temporarily the amount of money individuals may deposit without the banks informing the authorities and it proposes to suspend the sanctions imposed on banks should they fail to notify the authorities of such deposits.
