BOJ Yamaguchi - Need vigilance if war mood rises

JAPAN - Bank of Japan Deputy Governor Yutaka Yamaguchi said today, 21 September, the central bank must be vigilant to maintain market stability if the world gets closer to being on a war footing.

"We need to be very careful, more than we have until now, towards the world economy as the mood of a heightening 'war mode' increases," Yamaguchi said in testimony before Parliamentary committee.
